Small products, big impact: The Solutions at Ambiente 2024

15 Dec 2023

They are small household and kitchen helpers that make everyday life much easier – and also score points with a trendy, high-quality or sustainable design: For the special presentation Solutions at Ambiente 2024, British industrial designer Sebastian Bergne is once again curating a selection of practical problem-solvers – providing simple answers to the little obstacles in everyday life.

They may be inconspicuous, but their impact is all the greater: the Solutions are innovative household and kitchen helpers that offer a clever solution for every situation. For the special presentation at Ambiente 2024, British industrial designer Sebastian Bergne curated selected exhibitor products in the foyer of Hall 9.0, where he presents a total of 14 products that make everyday life easier for consumers. In his selection, the industrial designer pays particular attention to the innovative value, but functionality and the aspect of sustainability also play an important role – as does high-quality design. Whether sustainable alternative materials, practical cleaning methods or small appliances for quick food preparation – with Solutions, Sebastian Bergne provides an overview of the latest problem solvers on the market. The special presentation is enhanced by short videos that digitally illustrate the function of the individual products.

The name says it all: with the high-quality mocha grinder "Kinu M47 Titan", Graef GmbH promises to enrich the everyday lives of all coffee lovers: The high-end grinder not only impresses with its high-quality stainless steel design and simple operation, but above all with a highly sensitive motor with an extremely fine grinder, which even enables the finest mocha to be ground.

The stylish press promises the mill-free crushing of garlic cloves and impresses with its simple technology: it can be easily taken apart, with the handle also serving as a scraper, making thorough cleaning easier than ever before. The press comes in a durable design and is made of high-quality stainless steel. A big plus: the handle is made of kraft paper and a food-safe, reinforcing resin layer. This means that the press is made from environmentally friendly, sustainable materials and is also dishwasher safe.

There's nothing they can't do: The jar sets from Rayware are available with various lid designs: whether for crushing spreads and dips, chopping herbs and spices or grating Parmesan cheese – there is a suitable lid for every preparation purpose. The various attachments fit all jars and can be screwed on as required. The jar sets allow simplified preparation and uncomplicated storage in just one product.

Kitchen roll holder by simplehuman

Wipe and go: The kitchen roll holder with quick-release head from simplehuman enables thorough cleaning of kitchen surfaces, for example. The inside of the kitchen roll holder can be easily removed and filled with a cleansing liquid so that the holder can also be used as a spray soap dispenser. The kitchen roll holder therefore not only dispenses kitchen paper, but also a cleansing soap for refilling.

Barbecue spatula „Plancha Palette“ by triangle

On the one hand, the angled pallet guarantees a stable hold when the spatula is put away and, on the other, a pleasant, simplified grilling experience. The triangle toolsare conically shaped and hardened towards the tip. They are therefore springy and flexible at the front, while providing the necessary stability at the back. The functional polish ensures a particularly smooth, rust-free surface and soft edges that are gentle on the work surface. The high-quality handle made of German cherry wood is manufactured in Solingen, riveted by hand, trimmed and polished on the sanding belt.
